Solimano e Roxelana

This time Solimano and Roxelana have become smaller. Reduced in size but not in the quality and craftsmanship that distinguishes Crita’s teste di moro. In fact, from the modeling to the firing, each piece is a small work of art, fruit of the hands of our skilled shapers.
As tradition commands, our male head depicts a splendid Moor: Suleiman the Magnificent. Proud, elegant, mysterious, like so many of those things that refer to the East. Our sultan shows off its beautiful features, its enveloping turban and its bright and powerful colors. Suleiman is distinguished, wise and deeply attached to his beloved Roxelana: a powerful, mysterious and charming woman capable of being a central figure in the life of the great sultan and his empire. Mother, wife, politic, patron, she knew how to shine with her own light. That light that now shines on the face of our Roxelana, shining in the colors of our collection. A tribute to the greatness of women made up of lines, volumes and colors forged in the furnaces of the city of ceramics.
